How to spend the day at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival

During a fall visit to Disney World, we decided to spend the day at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival and had an amazing time.

During the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, kiosks are set up around the World Showcase with food and drinks from various countries.

Epcot’s food is already amazing, but this event takes it to another level. If you’re a foodie and your visiting Disney World in the Fall, then the International Food and Wine festival at Epcot is for you!

When is the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival usually runs from about late August to November.

This year’s Festival runs from August 29 – November 23, 2019, and the best time to visit would be during the weekdays, weekends are usually busier.

We visited on a Sunday, right when Epcot opened and it wasn’t as busy just yet. The World showcase opens up at 11am, and I suggest you be there at opening to avoid the lines.

We spent one day at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival, and felt it was enough time to sample a few of the culinary delights.

If you can spend more time, there are other fun events and food demonstrations happening during this wonderful event at Epcot.

Some of our favorite foods were the Chicken Teriyaki bun from the Japan showcase, as well as the Raclette with potatoes and bread, and wine from Norway.

We also loved the Cheese Fondue from the France World Showcase, and the giant pretzel and Beer from Germany. There’s so many yummy foods to choose from, and you can sample them all!
