When is the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival
The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival usually runs from about late August to November.
This year’s Festival runs from August 29 – November 23, 2019, and the best time to visit would be during the weekdays, weekends are usually busier.
We visited on a Sunday, right when Epcot opened and it wasn’t as busy just yet. The World showcase opens up at 11am, and I suggest you be there at opening to avoid the lines.
We spent one day at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival, and felt it was enough time to sample a few of the culinary delights.
If you can spend more time, there are other fun events and food demonstrations happening during this wonderful event at Epcot.
What to expect at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival
Admission to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is included with park admission, but you must purchase the food and drinks separately.
There are more than 30 global marketplaces featuring food, wine, and beer at Epcot.
Prices for each dish and beverage typically cost around $3 and up, and you can pay with your magic band, cash or credit cards.
The dishes and wine at the festival are made to be small so you can sample your way around the world.
Some of our favorite foods were the Chicken Teriyaki bun from the Japan showcase, as well as the Raclette with potatoes and bread, and wine from Norway.
We also loved the Cheese Fondue from the France World Showcase, and the giant pretzel and Beer from Germany. There’s so many yummy foods to choose from, and you can sample them all!
