Must Have Disney Essentials

First Aid Kit

One of the most important things to have on your list of Disney essentials is a first aid kit! Accidents can happen anywhere, and it’s best to be prepared.

All Disney Parks have a First Aid Center, but they can be so far away sometimes. Having one on hand is such a lifesaver!

We love this travel first aid kit that you can always leave in your bag and is perfect for traveling.

Cooling Towels

One of the most important things to pack especially when planning a summer visit to a Disney Park is a cooling towel. We recently visited Disney World in the summer and these cooling towels were lifesavers! We utilized the cold water from the drinking fountains and it definitely kept us cool during the hot and muggy summers in Florida.

Backpack

One of the best things to have for your Disney Trip is a daypack. We love the ones with side pockets and stretch cargo cords to hold stuff.

We love this Mickey inspired insulated backpack. It’s perfect for keeping things cool, especially when packing a lunch.

Disney inspired luggage

When planning a trip to a Disney Park, having some fun Disney-inspired luggage makes the Disney trip even more exciting, especially for the kids. We love this Mickey-inspired luggage and tags.

Portable Charger

Having a backup portable charger for your devices is also one of the must haves on your list of Disney essentials.

Let’s face it we do everything on our phones, from taking photos, to using those park apps, such as the My Disney experience, to make your experience go smoothly.

We love this power bank, it’s small and lightweight, which makes it easier to carry around.

Refillable water bottle

An important Disney must have is an insulated refillable water bottle. You can easily refill your bottle with FREE water and ice at the Parks. Saves you a lot of money that you can use for some Disney merchandise.

We love these Mickey-inspired refillable water bottles:

Disney Masks

Masks are no longer required when visiting a Disney Park but are still recommended for most. We love these Disney-inspired masks.

Hand wipes/Hand sanitizer

When traveling with kids anywhere, hand wipes and hand sanitizers are a must! We don’t go anywhere without them. Kids will get sticky and messy, so these are lifesavers! We love these Mickey-inspired hand sanitizers.

Snacks

When visiting a theme park, having snacks handy is so important. Yes you can purchase Disney snacks at the parks, but they’re always so expensive and sometimes you just want something simple.

We always have some kind of trail mix, jerky, Goldfish snacks, fruit chews, lollipops, and chips.

We organize all these snacks with our reusable snack bags or disposable Ziploc bags that you can easily throw away.

How cute are these Disney-inspired reusable snack bags, and these Frozen Ziploc bags.

Rain ponchos/jackets

If you’re planning a visit to Disney World in Orlando, you will most likely come upon rain, no matter which season you visit! We always have packable rain gear handy.

We love this rain jacket for adults. This Minnie raincoat, and Cars raincoat are so much fun, and these unisex Disney rain ponchos come in handy as well.

Stroller/Stroller Hooks

Having a stroller is a must when visiting a Disney Park. You will be walking ALL day, and a stroller is perfect for taking naps or just for resting. You can bring your own stroller, or rent one at the parks, which offer a one-day rental, or for the whole length of your stay.

I’ve heard great things about this foldable, lightweight stroller, which is perfect for traveling as they easily stow away in the plane.

Stroller hooks are perfect to have for lugging all your bags. We love this Mickey inspired stroller hook.

Comfortable shoes

When visiting any theme park, comfortable shoes are necessary! You will be walking ALL day, it’s best to be comfortable.

We love these kids crocs, which is perfect for wet rides and those rainy days.

FOR KIDS:

ADULTS UNISEX:

These Skechers sandals were so comfy during our Disney World vacation. I had no issues wearing them all day!

FOR WOMEN:

FOR GIRLS:

Microfiber towel

During a visit to Disney or any theme parks, you will most likely get on a wet ride. It’s always nice to have a towel handy, and extra clothes to dry up.

When visiting in the summer, a cooling towel also comes in handy. We love these travel Microfiber towels because they’re so easy to pack, as well as these Mickey inspired cooling towels as well.

Extra clothes

About those wet rides, we always plan for a specific day to do them, so we can dress appropriately.

We make sure to wear dri-fit shirts and water resistant shoes. Walking around with wet feet and clothing is not fun!

You also have the added bonus of saving money, and not having to buy a new outfit at the theme park shops, which usually cost a lot!

We love these reusable, and washable Mickey wet/dry bags for storing extra clothes

Hat

If you’re visiting a Disney Park in the summer, it’s so important to pack sunscreen, and a hat to block out those harmful rays.

We love this Minnie Mouse Disney Hat, and this set of two Mickey hats as well, and how cool are these Mom and Dad matching hats!

Disney Merchandise

One of the best tips is to buy your Disney Merchandise ahead of time to save money. We usually pack a bag with all the  Disney merchandise we purchased ahead of time and surprise her with it at the parks! We love these Disney inspired drawstring backpacks.

Mouse Ears

Purchase your mouse ears online ahead of time. We also love to visit the Disney stores and search for last season’s clearance ears and save them for our next visit.

You can even be crafty and make your own Disney mouse ears, and customize them however you like, or just go for the Classic Disney Mickey ears. These matching Mom and Me Minnie Ears are just too cute too!

Disney Matching Family shirts

When visiting Disney, you have to wear matching family shirts! It makes for a more coordinated family photo, and you can easily recognize each other in the crowds!

We love these matching Disney T-Shirts for the whole family.

Disney Character outfits

One of the most expensive purchases you can make at a Disney Park, or any theme park really, are the Character outfits. Buy your Disney costumes, and accessories ahead of time and save money!
